Matthew 14:22-33

Every breakthrough in life requires moving out of the familiar and into faith.
1. Do what God says no matter what.
Each day, each hour, every minute requires fresh obedience.
Proverbs 20:24 -"Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?"
2. Stay on course in spite of obstacles.
John 16:33b - "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
James 1:2-4 - "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
What you believe will determine what you do.
3. Focus on Jesus when things get rough.
Psalm 46:1-3 " God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah".
Jesus is bigger than any obstacle that comes our way.
4. Take steps to get closer to Jesus.
Problems will either drive us from God or to God.
James 4:8a - "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you."
Psalm 34:4 - "I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."

Conclusion:
Allow God to take you out of your comfort zone.
Pray and ask God to help you grow in faith - ask Him to accomplish His purpose in your life.
