"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16

What steps are you afraid to take that would result in depth or closeness to God?

Possible fear list:

* Our example Acts 3:1-7, 12; Acts 4:1-3

"Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel..." Acts 4:7-8

See opportunities

Take that risk

Seize that opportunity
TO FACE MY 'FEAR OF RISK' I NEED TO…

1. Identify my personal fear

2. Confess my fear of risk to someone

3. Take one risk at an opportunity that will challenge my fear--then take another one soon after

4. Feel the pleasure of God in my risk

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus." Acts 4:13
