Stink!
Colossians 3:8-14
August 30, 2006
Our flesh stinks. Living in the flesh is like body odor and
bad breath, it may not bother the one that has it, but it’s
killing everyone else. When we choose to please ourselves,
to justify ourselves, or attempt to meet our needs without
God, we are putting on the deeds of the old man, not the new
man. As we have studied, Christ is preeminent in all things.
If our lives are to reflect His preeminence, we need to change
our spiritual clothes. Put off the stinking things of the
flesh and put on the sweet smelling things of the Spirit.
