Transformers: A Life of Excellence
Most of us have a difficult time adjusting to a system that is "alien" to spiritual things. We Christians struggle to do the right thing because we live in a carnal world. This series Pastor Mike will challenge us to live a "transformed Life"...a Life of Excellence.

DreamWorks Pictures and Hasbro premiered a movie in 2007 about aliens that came to earth and had the unique ability to "transform" at their will. There was of course "good" transformers and there were "evil" transformers. They were able to do good or bad because of their internal programming. This is very much the way it is for us - we transform the outside because the inside is in control.

MEMBERS ONLY MEETING THIS SUNDAY!

Outreach & Evangelism Training
The Outreach and Evangelism Team will be hosting a training breakfast on Saturday, May 3rd May 10th at 9:00 am. We will enjoy a great homemade breakfast, followed by evangelism training by Pastor Mike; and then we will finish up by putting our training to work for The Kingdom.

This will be a great opportunity to take our outreach to the next level, individually and as a body. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. We'll have a sign-up sheet at the information booth this Sunday.

Jr. High Driven Red Rock Activity
The Driven Jr. Highers will be heading to Red Rock on Saturday, May 17th for a day of hiking. The cost is $10 and it includes lunch and transportation. We will meet at the parking lot of the Silverado Casino at 10:00am and head to Red Rock as a group. We'll be back at the Silverado by 4:00pm. All 6th-8th grade students and their parents are welcome to attend. Parents - all students must have a signed permission slip - no exceptions.

24/7 Paradise Student Ministry - New Website and Activities
The 24/7 Student Ministry would like to introduce their new website, www.ParadiseStudents.com. This is your one-stop source for information on all things teens. Parent information and Pastor Jay's new blog are only a couple of the exciting new highlights of this site.

Beginning in June, the High School student ministry will be having Friday Night Lights. This is a series of activities that will take place every Friday night throughout the summer. Check the website (www.ParadiseStudents.com) for the details of the activity each week.
